Hempton is a village in North Norfolk. The village is 0.8 miles (1.3 km) south west of Fakenham, 33.9 miles north west of Norwich.
The village straddles the A1065 between Fakenham and Swaffham
There are many facilities that serve this thriving and active community. Among these include: a church and church room, a village hall, many clubs and societies, an outdoor play area, a variety of local businesses, allotments and a friendly pub.
The Parish Council is made up of 4 Councillors who represent the village on various matters.
We are effectively the third tier of local government, the other two being Norfolk County Council and North Norfolk District Council.
We meet at 7 pm usually on the third Thursday of every other month at the Church Rooms, The Green, Hempton.
The public is very welcome to attend our meetings.
